We had a great visit with the Youth Office in Temerin. We had a wonderful, wide-ranging conversation about culture and cultural differences, education, political systems, history, and stereotypes in our two countries! Thanks to Vojislav Prkosovacki, Regional Youth Office Coordinator for the Serbian Ministry of Youth and Sport, who accompanied us from Novi Sad and share his expertise with us; Ivana Jerkov, Coordinator of the Temerin Youth Office; and all the wonderful young people who welcomed us so warmly, including Nemanja Buba Obradovic, Monika Zsunyi, Denes Varga, Boris Miletic, Deni Krevesic, and Sanja Milicev. Hvala!!

After lots of preparation and hard work by Aaron Brazelton and others, the UA Heritage Panel Serbia Program has gotten off to a great start. Aaron and Kamron came early to get things set up and Al and Dr. Meares joined them on May 24 in Belgrade. This blog illustrates their work and adventures in getting to know the three cities where we plan to bring students next summer. Our time is being spend developing relationships with Serbian university representatives, university students, youth, and youth workers. This log is a record of our experiences.
